POLICY

Quality assurance

We aim for the highest quality in our performances and our relationships. We take pride in our work. We maintain the quality of what we do through constant ongoing review with our clients, suppliers, and talent. We welcome feedback in order to improve wherever possible.

Ethics

We always conduct our own services honestly and honorably and expect our clients, supplier, and talent to do the same. Our ideas, concepts, business processes, and training take proper account of ethical considerations, together with the protection and enhancement of the moral position of our clients, suppliers, and talent.

Duty of care

Our actions and productions will always conform to relevant law, and we believe that all businesses and organisations should avoid causing any adverse effect on the human rights of people in the organisations we deal with, the local and wider environments, and the well-being of society at large.

Conflict of interest

Where a production service is provided on the basis as a custom made show, due to its unique creative nature, ideas, concepts, and production services, we will not provide the same service to a direct competitor of a client without their prior permission.

Contracts

Our contract will usually be in the form of a detailed proposal, including ideas, concepts, activities, costs, and deliverables. The quality of our service and the value of our support provide the only true basis for continuity. We always try to meet our clients’ contractual requirements.

Fees

We provide high quality, unique, specialized productions at competitive rates. We propose entertainment solutions which accommodate our clients’ available budgets and time constraint s, and do not offer discounts.  Wherever possible we state our fees well in advance of rehearsal and performance dates, so that clients may plan for timely payment.

Costs of Collection

Southern Beat Productions reserves the right to claim costs of recovery on any unpaid monies that exceed our normal trading terms. This could include debt collection and cost of solicitors on a party to party basis.

Nothing in this provision is to be construed as our consent to late payment of the previously agreed price.

Suppliers and Talent

We value the time and professionalism of our suppliers and talent and ensure that the fees we pay reflect the high quality of the services they provide. As such we do not generally ask talent and suppliers to volunteer their services.

Intellectual property and creative rights

We retain the creative rights in, and ownership of, all intellectual property that we create unless agreed otherwise in advance with our clients. In return, we respect the rights and intellectual copyright vested in our clients’, suppliers’ and talent’s intellectual property.

Confidentiality

We are committed to maintaining the highest degree of integrity in all our dealings with potential, current and past clients, both in terms of normal commercial confidentiality, and the protection of all personal information received in the course of providing the business services concerned. We extend the same standards to all our clients, suppliers and talent.

Professional conduct

We conduct all of our activities professionally and with integrity.

Equality and discrimination

We always strive to be fair and inclusive in the provision of our services and in our actions, and we are not influenced in our decisions, actions or recommendations by issues of gender, race, creed, colour, age or personal disability. We will, however, comply with the performance brief and concept as prescribed by our clients,

A BRILLIANT SHOWCASE

“Trumpet Events recently employed Chantel Runting to choreograph the feature parade for Fashion+Aid at Palladium at Crown.
Not only is she delightfully enthusiastic and motivated herself, but she also has the ability to enthuse others.
Over the course of several months of casting, re-casting, choreographing, styling, choosing music, changing music, recording music and of course re-casting, her indefatigable enthusiasm never flagged.
With an audience of over 1,000 guests, expectations were very high, and Chantel absolutely delivered. Naturally, her choreographic skills were the focal point of her involvement and in that area, she produced a brilliant showcase of her talent. But it was her event day involvement that took her above and beyond most choreographers. She is the quintessential timekeeper, every minute detail of arrivals, rehearsals, meal times, wardrobe calls and performances was delivered with precision timing. With a cast and crew of over 100 people, Chantel’s attention to detail and adherence to time was the lynchpin to the delivery of a world-class, stress-free event.
We have no hesitation in recommending Chantel and look forward to working with her in the future.”
